TOMORROWLABS FESTIVAL 2024

The innovative festival format took place on June 8, 2024 in Magdeburg's Port of Science and combined science, future visions, music and culture. Meeting the motto 'How do we want to live and work in the future?', visitors were invited to take a look at the future of science and the city of Magdeburg. The festival was for everyone interested in exciting research from their city and who wanted to take the opportunity to find out more about universities, research institutions and innovative companies.

We attended in the Tomorrow:Health Lab and the FutureHead presentations and were very impressed by the interest in current research. Our 'Coffee party with dopamine and noradrenaline' invited people to a lively exchange about healthy ageing and mental performance. We presented the 'Cognitive Vitality' research project and the POCD study. Those interested could complete a computer task in which reaction time was measured, which resulted in a real competition. Visitors also had the opportunity to try out the non-invasive method of vagus nerve stimulation.

We thank all guests and participants for making this exciting festival possible and look forward to the next time when we start shaping the future together!
