Follow our health intervention - mindfulness based stress reduction training
Follow us - strengthen mental performance together!
Many people want to maintain their mental fitness and prevent cognitive decline.
To achieve this, we are conducting a new study with several innovative approaches: We are investigating how various interventions have a positive impact on cognitive performance – and cordially invite you to follow our scientific journey.
Today: Mindfulness - A Key to Mental Performance
In an ever-accelerating world, it's becoming increasingly difficult to maintain focus, think clearly, and remain mentally agile. Constant stress, multitasking, and digital distractions strain our attention and memory. But what if we could specifically strengthen our mental performance through simple mental exercises? Mindfulness based stress reduction training (MBSR) isn't a short-term trend, but a sustainable method for promoting clarity, concentration, and emotional stability. Research suggests that mindfulness training strengthens neural networks responsible for cognitive functions and regulation. Our intervention study aims to demonstrate that even just a few minutes of daily practice can make a noticeable difference – in thinking, feeling, and acting:
- Guided meditations to promote presence and serenity: MBSR reduces stress hormones like cortisol, which has a positive effect on the brain, as chronic stress has been proven to impair mental performance. Mindfulness training improves working memory capacity and helps to store and retrieve information more effectively.

- Breathing and body exercises to improve self-awareness: Mindfulness exercises improve emotional regulation, which promotes clarity and mental flexibility.

- Mindful awareness in everyday life - i.e. while eating, walking, or listening: Mindfulness exercises promote focused awareness, reduce distractions, and increase productivity.

- Reflection exercises to deepen learning: Mindfulness enables more flexible thinking, breaking from ingrained thought patterns, and developing creative solutions. Serenity supports divergent thinking and fosters innovation.

Mindfulness is important for mental performance because it has shown to improve concentration, memory, stress resilience, problem-solving skills, and creative thinking. This training is an effective strategy for optimizing mental potential in everyday life and strengthening cognitive resources.
Stay active!
We conduct research in an area that is important to all of us: the maintenance and promotion of mental health. At the same time, we want to inspire you to pursue a physically, mentally, and socially active lifestyle. Look forward to further postings from our intervention study!
